Platforma CANAL+ and SmarDTV Global collaborate to launch a new CI Plus ECP module in Poland
SmarDTV Global, the leader in pay-TV Conditional Access Module and Polish DTH Platforma CANAL+ announced today the launch of a new module supporting CI Plus ECP technology and fingerprinting.
This new product is implementing state-of-the-art security features allowing content owners as major Hollywood studios to get the outmost confidence that their 4K materials are securely protected by CI Plus ECP compliant module and iDTV.
End-users can continue to enjoy any other contents with a non-ECP CI+ IDTV avoiding the constraint to change their existing equipment.
The module is also implementing fingerprinting technology, protecting among other programs and sports events, the best of the European football leagues and thus fighting against illegal redistribution of contents.
SmarDTV Global has been at the forefront of the Conditional Access Module deployment with the focus to pro-actively support pay-TV operator business and content owners.
