The EuroCAM Irdeto Cryptoworks by SmarDTV enables Set Top Boxes (STBs) and integrated Digital TeleVisions (iDTVs) to receive premium and pay-per-view TV channels, without the need for any specific Conditional Access Software inside the STB or the iDTV. This modularity results in a more flexible setup for both consumers and manufacturers.
This product is based on SmarDTV's widely deployed, and field proven, DVB-CI EuroCAM platform.

• Officially licensed support for Irdeto's Cryptoworks conditional access including up to V3 and ICE Smart Cards
• SD and HD supports on Terrestrial, Satellite and Cable reception
• Secured software update via over-the-air (OTA) satellite or terrestrial download
• Plug and Play capability allows CAM to be hot swapped into a STB or iDTV
